...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

Root River Near Houston affecting Houston County.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

South Branch Root River at Lanesboro affecting Fillmore and Houston
Counties.

.Much of the Root River Basin received 3 to 7 inches of rain in the
last 24 hours. Initial local runoff has likely already made it
through the Lanesboro and Houston locations. Additional upstream
runoff will likely hold Lanesboro around 10 to 12 feet through this
evening as upstream water routes downstream. At Houston, the forecast
carries uncertainty in how fast the water will route downstream. If
routing is slower then forecast, expect the Houston crest to be
around 14 to 15 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Root River near Houston.

* WHEN...From late tonight to Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just
after midnight tonight to a crest of 16.5 feet tomorrow evening.
It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning.
