Yavapai County in west central Arizona... * Until noon MST. * At 824 AM MST, a river gauge on the Agua Fria River at Rock Springs reported a rapid rise of 3.5 feet from thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...River gauge reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
