East Branch Pecatonica River Near Blanchardville affecting Lafayette County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...East Branch Pecatonica River near Blanchardville. * WHEN...From this evening to Monday evening. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Highway 78, F and H north of park in Blanchardville is flooded and closed. Floodwaters completely cover McKellar Park, inluding the tennis courts and football field. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 8.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 13.2 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Monday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.2 feet on 03/05/1949. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
