Fluvanna County in central Virginia... * Until 600 PM EDT. * At 519 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Boswells Tavern to 8 miles south of Charlottesville, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines. * Severe thunderstorms will be near... Lake Monticello, Boswells Tavern, and Troy around 525 PM EDT. Louisa and Palmyra around 535 PM EDT. Ferncliff around 540 PM EDT. Mineral, Fork Union, and Kents Store around 545 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Louisa Airport, Green Springs, Shores, Central Plains, Bremo Bluff, Cohasset, Waldrop, Tabscott, Trevilians, and Wares Crossroads.
