Turkey River at Garber affecting Clayton County.

Turkey River at Elkader affecting Clayton County.

.Much of the Turkey River Basin from Garber upstream through
Spillville received 2 to 5 inches of rain in the last 24 hours. The
latest forecasts brings the crest at Elkader lower due to lower
forecast precipitation amounts during the overnight as well as a
slower routing from upstream locations. Much of the uncertainty in
these river forecasts stems from uncertainty in how fast the water
will flow downstream with time.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Turkey River at Garber.

* WHEN...Until Monday afternoon.
