Grand River near Brunswick affecting Chariton and Carroll Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Grand River near Brunswick. * WHEN...Until Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Flooding of low-lying areas occurs along the west bank of the Grand River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge about 1 mile west of Brunswick. At 22.0 feet, Low-lying areas along the east bank of the Grand River near the U.S. Highway 24 bridge begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:26 AM CDT Monday the stage was 20.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this morning and continue falling to 6.3 feet early Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
