Skunk River at Augusta affecting Des Moines, Henry IA and Lee Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Skunk River at Augusta. * WHEN...From late Thursday night until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Water affects driveways and gravel access roads in Augusta. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Friday morning and continue rising to a crest of 19.9 feet Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
