At 648 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Miller Canyon. Between 1.3 and 1.6 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sierra Vista, Hereford, Fort Huachuca and Ramsey Canyon Preserve. This includes the following highways... Route 90 between mile markers 324 and 329. Route 92 between mile markers 323 and 334. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Moson Rd from HWY 90 and Hereford Rd.
