...HOT AND DRY WITH GUSTY WINDS AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING... Hot and dry conditions on Saturday will combined with increase southerly winds ahead of an approaching cold front. Expect sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph with humidities between 15 and 20 percent. Eastern portions of 423 along with zone 426 has seen little to no rainfall in the last two weeks keeping fuel critically dry. The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Red Flag Warning for winds and low relative humidities, which is in effect from noon to 9 PM MDT Saturday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect. * AFFECTED AREA...In Idaho, Fire Weather Zones 423 Owyhee Mountains and 426 Southern Highlands. * TIMING...From noon to 9 PM MDT Saturday. * WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...15 to 20 percent. * TEMPERATURES...78 to 88 degrees. * IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
