...The Flood Warning continues for the following river in Florida... Shoal River Near Crestview affecting Okaloosa County. For the Shoal River...including Crestview...Moderate flooding is forecast. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov/mob. Click on the Rivers and Lakes menu for forecasts and observations. The next statement will be issued when updates occur. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Shoal River near Crestview. * WHEN...Until Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, homes on south bank of river begin to flood near Crestview. At 14.0 feet, residential flooding in the Trevor Court area. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 11.7 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:15 AM CDT Sunday was 11.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.8 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.7 feet on 03/18/1990. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
