At 458 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Greasewood Springs, Steamboat, Cornfields, Sunrise Springs, Greasewood and Twin Buttes. This includes State Route 264 between mile markers 425 and 434. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Steamboat Wash, Pueblo Colorado Wash and Big Dam Wash.
