The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
West Central Kane County in southern Utah...
East Central Washington County in southwestern Utah...

* Until 400 PM MDT.

* At 156 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across much of Zion National Park. Up to 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing. This Flash Flood
Warning has been extended through 4 PM MDT.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of slot canyons, normally
dry washes, streams, creeks, and rivers.
