...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WITH GUSTY WINDS AND LITTLE RAINFALL...

A strong low pressure system in northeastern California will
bring scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and evening with
outflow wind gusts up to 50 mph and little rainfall. As the low
moves into southeastern Oregon late tonight and southwestern
Idaho on Friday, scattered thunderstorms will develop again,
especially on the Idaho side.

* AFFECTED AREA...In Idaho, Fire Weather Zones 403 Northern
Boise National Forest, 421 Southern Boise/Western Sawtooth NF,
including the Camas Prairie, 423 Owyhee Mountains, 424 Western
Twin Falls BLM and 426 Southern Highlands.

* TIMING...Through this evening.

* WINDS...Northwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...40 to 54 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...60 to 70 degrees.

* THUNDERSTORMS...Scattered coverage with abundant lightning.

* OUTFLOW WINDS...Gusty erratic winds up to 40 mph.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
