At 201 PM MDT, National Park Service reported thunderstorms producing
heavy rain and flash flooding across much of Zion National Park,
including on the Virgin River. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen.
Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...National Park Service reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of slot canyons, normally
dry washes, creeks, streams, and rivers.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Zion National Park, Springdale, Keyhole and Spry Slot Canyons,
Parunuweap Canyon, and the North and East Forks of the Virgin
River.
