The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...

* Until 800 PM EDT.

* At 710 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
waterspouts, damaging wind, and large hail, was located 8 nm west
of Port Huron, moving southeast at 35 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and large
hail.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could
result in structural damage.
