St. Clair River... * Until 800 PM EDT. * At 710 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts, damaging wind, and large hail, was located 8 nm west of Port Huron, moving southeast at 35 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and large hail. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas.
