* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northern Mills County in southwestern Iowa... Pottawattamie County in southwestern Iowa... Douglas County in east central Nebraska... Sarpy County in east central Nebraska... Southeastern Saunders County in east central Nebraska... Northern Cass County in southeastern Nebraska... Lancaster County in southeastern Nebraska... * WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1246 PM CDT, emergency management reported continued flooding across the warned area due to the very heavy rainfall that occurred on Wednesday night. Flooding is already occurring. In many locations, the water is slowly receding, but will continue for several hours, especially in low lying areas along larger creeks and rivers. Between 3 and 8 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may continue to experience floodinginclude...
