* WHERE...Canadian River at Amarillo 19N.

* WHEN...Until late Friday night.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Portions of Rosita Creek Flats Recreational
Area floods. Primitive campers and recreational vehicles are in
imminent danger. Dirt roads that lead to highway 287 from Rosita
Creek Flats are impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 10:00 PM CDT Wednesday was 10.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.9 feet
