The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
South Central Emery County in central Utah...

* Until 900 PM MDT.

* At 709 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated another thunderstorm
producing heavy rain approaching the warned area. As this storm
crosses the area, an additional 0.5 to 1.0 inches of rain is
expected over portions of the San Rafael Swell, including Muddy
Creek, Ramp, Cistern, Ding, Dang, Bell, Little Wildhorse, Crack and
Chute Canyons. This will result in another flood wave moving
through these drainages.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of slot canyons and
normally dry washes.

The Chute of Muddy Creek, Little Wildhorse Canyon, Ding and Dang
Canyons, Crack and Chute Canyons, as well as portions of Goblin
Valley State Park.
