* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of southern California, including the following areas, Chiriaco Summit, Joshua Tree NP East and Joshua Tree NP West. * WHEN...Through this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The remnants of Tropical Storm Rachel will continue to bring moderate to heavy rainfall at times this morning before tapering off this afternoon.
