* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Northern Jewell County in north central Kansas...
Nuckolls County in south central Nebraska...
Thayer County in south central Nebraska...

* WHEN...Until noon CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 307 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that much of the Warning area had picked up at least 2.5 to 4.5
inches of rain in the last few hours. Emergency management has
reported water over Highway 136 in the Deshler area, and many
county roads are experiencing significant flooding. Area creeks
and rivers will experience significant rises, and mainly minor
flooding of some main rivers is also possible. Additional off and
on, mainly light, rain is possible today. Dry conditions return
by tonight and will likely persist for at least several days.
