The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
Waters from Edisto Beach SC to Savannah GA out 60 NM...
Waters from Savannah GA to Altamaha Sound GA out 60 NM...

* Until 1115 AM EDT.

* At 909 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
waterspouts was located 5 NM east of Buoy L, moving northeast at 15
knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 34 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
