At 807 AM MDT, emergency management continued to report flash
flooding in the Ruidoso area, including areas downstream of the Salt
burn scar. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. While rainfall rates
have been decreasing, but additional rainfall amounts up to 0.75
inches are still possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash
flooding.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
