Kanawha County in central West Virginia... Lincoln County in central West Virginia... Southwestern Clay County in north central West Virginia... Southwestern Putnam County in western West Virginia... Northeastern Wayne County in western West Virginia... * Until 1015 AM EDT. * At 720 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
