...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida...

St Johns River Near Astor affecting Lake and Volusia Counties.

.The St Johns River at Astor is forecast to dip from Minor Flood
Stage to Action Stage this weekend. Towards the middle of next week,
another rise into Minor Flood Stage is forecast due to increasing
rain chances and a return of northerly winds.

For the St. Johns River...including Astor...Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...St Johns River near Astor.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 2.3 feet, Many docks become submerged along the river
and in canals in the Astor community. Water enters yards of
properties on Bartram Road, Holiday Circle and along Wild Hog Road
on the Lake County side. In Volusia County, water encroaches yards
of homes on the river side of Alice Drive. No wake zones are in
effect from near the South Moon Canal to approximately 800 feet
south of the Riverview lodge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 2.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 2.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to remain right around flood
stage at 2.3 feet through today. It will then fall into Action
Stage for a couple of days before rising back into flood stage
towards the middle of next week. Additional rises through Minor
Flood Stage are forecast thereafter.
- Flood stage is 2.3 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 2.5
feet on 05/28/2023.
