Platte River At Sharps Station affecting Platte County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Platte River at Sharps Station. * WHEN...From Friday evening to late Sunday night. * IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Low-lying rural land along the river begins to flood. At 29.0 feet, Backwater from the Platte River floods Highway KK along the Little Platte River at the location 0.2 miles east of Highway B. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 9.7 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 9.8 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall to 9.3 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will rise above flood stage late Friday evening to 28.0 feet Saturday evening.
