* WHAT...South winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 80 mph. Wind gusts
have been observed between 70 and 82 mph in the Pine Valleys and
near Brian Head as of 755 AM.

* WHERE...Southern Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM MDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property and
cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles and vehicles with trailers.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest wind gusts are expected over the
Pine Valley Mountains, near Brian Head, and near Boulder Summit.
Strong winds combined with saturated soils will make it easier to
down trees. Backcountry users in the high elevations should
exercise high caution near trees.
