FFWFGZ The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... Coconino County in north central Arizona... Yavapai County in west central Arizona... * Until 215 PM MST. * At 1100 AM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain falling across the warned area. Between 1.75 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * For Oak Creek at Cornville: At 10:00am the stage was 16.39 feet. Flood Stage is 8.0 feet. Forecast: The creek is expected to crest around 12:00pm Sunday. Impacts: At 12.0 feet: Significant flooding of RV park near Page Springs Rd. ... For Oak Creek at Oak Creek at Sedona: At 10:45am the stage was 13.8 feet. Flood Stage is 14.0 feet. Forecast: A crest of 16.08 feet is expected at 11:00am Sunday. Impacts: At 13.0 feet: Stream reaches terrace under Tlaquepaque bridge. Low water crossings closed. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
