At 724 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Emmett to near Dover, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Law enforcement. At 722 PM CDT, St Marys PD is reporting wind gusts around 65 MPH. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Topeka, Rossville, Dover, Silver Lake, Hoyt, Mayetta, Denison, Delia, Willard, Potawatomi Reservation, and Pauline. This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 between mile markers 346 and 355. Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 173 and 183.
