* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
areas, Brazos, Grimes, Houston, Madison, Montgomery, Northern
Liberty, Polk, San Jacinto, Southern Liberty, Trinity and Walker.

* WHEN...Through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A swath of very high rainfall totals over portions of Liberty,
Polk, San Jacinto, Montgomery, and Trinity Counties has saturated
the ground. Rainfall has not been as significant further to the
west and northwest. That said, periods of showers and
thunderstorms are anticipated into Thursday in association with
the remnants of Edouard. Embedded, training rain rates between
2-4 inches per hour are possible in this deep tropical airmass.
Where this occurs, especially over the already hardest hit areas,
rainfall will rapidly runoff to produce flash flooding.
