Little Blue River Near Deweese affecting Nuckolls and Clay Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Little Blue River near Deweese. * WHEN...Until late tonight. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Water overflows rural agricultural land and reaches the base of several buildings located 1.5 miles east of Deweese. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 10.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:15 AM CDT Friday was 12.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage today and continue falling through the weekend. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
