The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
South Central Emery County in central Utah...

* Until 745 PM MDT.

* At 441 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across portions of the San Rafael Swell, including Muddy
Creek, Ramp, Cistern, Ding, Dang, Bell and Little Wildhorse
Canyons. The expected rainfall rate is 0.50 to 1.0 inches in 30
minutes. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of slot canyons and
normally dry washes.

Little Wildhorse Canyon, Ding and Dang Canyons, and Goblin Valley.
