At 1059 PM CDT, emergency management reported ongoing flooding near
168th and Highway 370 and areas near Gretna. Between 2 and 3 inches
of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1.5 to 3 inches in
1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Bennington, Boys Town, Elkhorn, Millard, Offutt AFB, La Vista,
Carter Lake, Valley, Springfield, Waterloo, Crescent, Cedar Creek,
Aksarben and Chalco.

Interstate 29 between mile markers 43 and 63. Interstate 80 in Iowa
