...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 8 PM MDT FRIDAY DUE TO WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR SLOPE AND BOWMAN COUNTIES... .Critical fire weather conditions are expected over far southwest North Dakota Friday afternoon and evening. South-southeast winds are forecast to increase to around 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Relative humidity could fall as low as 15 percent. The National Weather Service in Bismarck ND has issued a Red Flag Warning in effect from noon to 8 PM MDT Friday. * AFFECTED AREA...Slope and Bowman. * TIMING...From noon to 8 PM MDT Friday. * WINDS...South to southeast winds around 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Relative Humidity as low as 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
