The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
The Forsyth burn scar in...
Central Washington County in southwestern Utah...

* Until 615 PM MDT.

* At 310 PM MDT, Emergency management reported heavy rain over the
Forsyth Burn Scar, and river gauges remain high along the Santa
Clara River. Between 1.25 and 2.25 inches of rain have fallen.
Flash flooding is ongoing. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar
will result in debris flow. The debris flow can consist of rock,
mud, vegetation and other loose materials.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
flash flooding in and around the Forsyth Burn Scar.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the
Forsyth Burn Scar.
