The storm which prompted the northern warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the northern warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds are still possible with another thunderstorm in southern portions of Perry and Knott County. So, a new Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Southeastern Perry and South central Knott Counties. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service JACKSON KY. Remember, a new Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Southeastern Perry and South central Knott Counties until 600 PM EDT.
