At 946 PM EDT, while the heavy rain that produced between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain within the warned area earlier this evening has since ended. local law enforcement reported that some area roadways remain flooded. Flooding impacts will continue for a while longer, but no additional rainfall is expected. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Buffalo, Cheektowaga, Kenmore, Depew, Amherst, Tonawanda, Lancaster, Williamsville and Grand Island.
