FFWTWC The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... East Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona... * Until 300 PM MST. * At 105 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. A gauge at Corona de Tucson reported 0.91 inches in 10 minutes. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Corona De Tucson. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Houghton Rd from I-10 & Sahuarita Rd and Sahuarita Rd west of Wilmot Rd.
