Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Scott and Clinton Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S. * WHEN...Until late Monday night. * IMPACTS...At 12.5 feet, Water affects old U.S. Highway 61 near the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 12.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday was 12.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.7 feet Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Monday evening. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
