...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas... Black Vermillion River near Frankfort affecting Marshall County. Big Blue River near Blue Rapids affecting Marshall County. Little Blue River near Barnes affecting Marshall and Washington Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Blue River near Barnes. * WHEN...From this afternoon to late Saturday night. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Lowland agricultural flooding occurs from 15th Road and Zenith Road in Washington County to Waterville in Marshall County. At 17.0 feet, Farm field, 4.5 miles north of Barnes, on the west side of Highway 148 floods north of the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 15.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this morning to a crest of 16.8 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
