The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southeastern Athens County in southeastern Ohio...
Meigs County in southeastern Ohio...
Southwestern Washington County in southeastern Ohio...
North Central Jackson County in northwestern West Virginia...
Wood County in northwestern West Virginia...
North Central Mason County in western West Virginia...

* Until 745 AM EDT Sunday.

* At 142 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts
of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Parkersburg, Athens, Marietta, Belpre, Pomeroy, Coolville, Rutland,
Forked Run State Park, Vienna, Williamstown, New Haven, Mason,

Chester and North Hills.

Interstate 77 in West Virginia near mile marker 151...and between
mile markers 164 and 186. Route 50 in West Virginia between mile
