At 253 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding across
the warned area. Between 2.5 and 5.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Law enforcement and local EMA reported significant flooding
occurring near the Highland County Fairgrounds, with rushing
water on SR-73. Additionally, multiple water rescues are
being reported out of Pike County.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
