At 253 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 5.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Law enforcement and local EMA reported significant flooding occurring near the Highland County Fairgrounds, with rushing water on SR-73. Additionally, multiple water rescues are being reported out of Pike County. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Hillsboro, Waverly, Piketon, Marshall, Bainbridge, Kincaid Springs, Cynthiana, Pike Lake, Highland Holiday, Rocky Fork Point, Russell, New Market, Beaver, Sinking Spring, Idaho, Elm Grove, Buchanan, Rainsboro, Summithill and Rocky Fork Lake.
