Black Vermillion River near Frankfort affecting Marshall County. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas... Big Blue River near Blue Rapids affecting Marshall County. Little Blue River near Barnes affecting Marshall and Washington Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Blue River near Barnes. * WHEN...From Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Farm field, 4.5 miles north of Barnes, on the west side of Highway 148 floods north of the river. At 19.0 feet, Farm field, 4.5 miles north of Barnes, south of the river and east of Highway 148 floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 18.4 feet Saturday evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
