Mississippi River at Winfield. Mississippi River at Hannibal. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Canton. * WHEN...From late Thursday night to Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Both banks begin to overflow. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 11.1 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.0 feet early Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday afternoon. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
