The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
Waters from Edisto Beach SC to Altamaha Sound out 20 NM...

* Until 700 AM EDT.

* At 526 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
waterspouts was located over Buoy L, moving north at 10 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Channel Buoy 5, Savannah Buoy, Whitewater Reef, Hilton Head Reef,
Gaskins Bank Wreck, Gaskin Banks, Buoy K C, Motherlode Barge,
Sailboat Jupiter, 110 Degree Olympic Buoy, Savannah River Entrance,
