Southeastern Nemaha County in northeastern Kansas... Pottawatomie County in northeastern Kansas... Southern Riley County in northeastern Kansas... * Until 500 PM CDT. * At 1253 PM CDT, emergency management reported flash flooding from showerse and thunderstorms in the warned area. Between 0.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Highway 24 at Excel Road in Pottawatomie County was flooded. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
